 8th Annual PPCN Conference

From Surviving to Thriving:
'Four Key Practices for Clergy Wellness"

October 8-11, 2007
Law's Lodge at

Louisville Theological Seminary
Louisville, Kentucky
with
A Day at the Presbyterian Center

We are very pleased to confirm that David M. Bailey will be providing the Opening Evening Concert at 8 pm on Monday, October 8, Louisville Presbyterian Theological Seminary Chapel.   Everyone is invited to come and bring a friend to this inspirational, entertaining evening.

David is the son of Kenneth Bailey, the Presbyterian Missionary to Beruit, who has written and traveled the world teaching Biblical truth from with a keen insight into Ancient Near Eastern Tradition.  After David grew up in Beruit he came back to the United States and entered corporate America.  Over eleven years ago he was diagnosed with a "terminal brain tumor."

Most physicians and those with good sense predicted he wouldn't SURVIVE.  But, he has instead been able to THRIVE!!!

David personifies the theme of this year's 8th Annual PPCN Conference: "From Surviving to Thriving"

It is our hope that everyone who comes will move beyond the challenges which threaten to keep clergy from healthy habits of self-care.  With David's musical reminder of God's motivation and grounding in the 4 key practices of clergy wellness, we, and our ministries can and will Thrive!

The Total Conference Cost is $400 for Non-Members and $350 for Members.   Please plan for as many of your Pastoral Care Team to come as possible!
