Brochure ~~  Register Online ~~  Speaker Bios

Note:  If you plan to attend the PPCN conference only, you can still register through the Big Tent Event website.   Download the registration form and select the PPCN conference from the list of pre-conferences found on the BTE registration form.

The theme is particularly relevant because of the numerous conversations taking place around the PCUSA about the difficulties presbyteries are experiencing in adjusting to the decline in financial support and ministry resources.

Content will address the disconnects that congregations often feel with their presbyteries, and the perceptions that governing bodies need to rethink the ways we go about training ministers, consummating calls resourcing congregations, and doing ministry in the post-denominational and technological era of the 21st century.

Hear from a creative presbytery executive, a seminary professor and a research director from the Lilly Endowment Project on Pastoral Excellence as together we think about adaptive changes at presbytery levels and within our congregational life to care and support both healthy pastors and healthy congregations.

POSTED 5/2/2011:
Big Tent will be in Indianapolis! “ Changes to Indiana legislation removed the most troublesome of the Arizona-style anti-immigration provisions. We believe that all Presbyterians will be welcomed warmly in Indianapolis at the Big Tent gathering this summer.”

—Rev. Gradye Parsons, stated clerk of the PC(USA) General Assembly

See you at Big Tent in Indy!
