| About Membership
Membership in the Presbytery Pastoral
Care Network (PPCN) is open to all ministry professionals
throughout the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.), whether part-time
or full-time, paid or volunteer. Our Network Members are
usually middle judicatory leaders/representatives who are concerned for
or engaged in providing pastoral care for ministers. There
are two categories of members:
 | Active members: Ministry
individuals whose call or appointment (whether full-time
or part-time) has been approved by their governing body
entity, whose call engages them in providing pastoral
care to ministers and their families, and who pay the annual
dues of the network. These constitute the active, voting
membership of the PPCN.
|
 | Institutional Members: A
Congregation, Other Ministry Organization, Presbytery or
Synod may designate a group or committee of volunteers
to serve as caregivers for pastors in the institution.
All volunteers, professional staff or committee
representatives, et.al., in this group can become institutional
members for one institutional membership fee. |
